Biography
Mike Martinez practiced law for 33 years before he became a full-time teacher. From 1995 until 2020, he also taught political science and public administration courses part-time at several Georgia colleges and universities, including Georgia State University, the University of Georgia, Kennesaw State University (KSU), and ³Ô¹Ïtv. He taught environmental law part-time at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School from 1997 until 1999. Before joining ³Ô¹Ïtv in August 2024, he taught full-time at KSU from 2020-2024.
Martinez has published academic articles in many scholarly journals. In addition, he has co-edited three academic books and written 18 books on a variety of political and historical topics, including terrorism, crime, race, ethics and American political institutions.
