Expect a secure, quiet and comfortable testing environment, free of distractions and interruptions when taking the ACCUPLACER placement exam at ³Ô¹Ïtv.

ACCUPLACER* placement testing takes place during the week and the second Saturday of each month.

When you arrive on testing day, make sure to bring a picture ID, and for students who have applied to ³Ô¹Ïtv, have your student ID number. With the exception of WritePlacer®, the exam is not timed, but plan on spending at least three hours completing the test prior to Testing Services' closing time.

The fee for the placement exam is $30 for ³Ô¹Ïtv applicants and $30 for re-takes; $50 for non-³Ô¹Ïtv applicants and $30 for re-takes.

³Ô¹Ïtv accepts the following credit cards, in your name only, and you must have the card with you: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Other forms of payment include debit cards or money orders payable to "³Ô¹Ïtv." ³Ô¹Ïtv does not accept personal checks or cash for testing.

There are no changes to the WritePlacer® exam or scoring.

Non-native English speaking students should also take the placement test. Only one placement test retake is approved.
