Application and document deadlines may be extended by the vice president of Enrollment Management Services in consultation with others, if conditions warrant. The Admissions office will communicate date changes to prospective students via the 勛圖tv website and other communications.泭

2. Create Grizzly Profile to Apply Online

Create your Grizzly Profile泭to apply online, manage your progress and submit the required $30 nonrefundable application fee (Dual Enrollment exempted from application fee). Completing your profile泭also connects you to your admissions counselor,泭and offers a泭personalized application experience, helpful tips and reminders,泭status updates, and invitations to exclusive events. 3. Review Admission Requirements

Manage submissions and approvals泭by monitoring email and your online Grizzly Profile account.

    Dual Enrollment Admission

    Admission Requirements

    • Satisfy age requirement of 16 or older by the first day of the semester of enrollment.
    • Be classified as a high school junior or senior by the first day of the semester of enrollment.泭
    • Meet the minimum 3.25 GPA.
      • 勛圖tv recalculates GPA based on the grades in the 17 units of泭. See University System of Georgia freshman admissions requirements泭.
      • Official high school transcripts may be sent electronically through , Parchment/Credential Solutions or ScribOrder-Uconnect. Transcripts sealed in the high school's envelope may also be mailed or dropped off in person to Admissions Services, Building D (maps and directions).
    • Be on-track for meeting high school graduation requirements and completing the 17 units of USGs Required High School Curriculum (RHSC).
      • Student must have successfully completed two units of RHSC English AND have successfully completed high school algebra II, advanced algebra or equivalent course prior to enrollment.
    • 勛圖tv is test-optional for admission into the dual enrollment program.
    • Submit parent/guardian consent agreement and funding application via the泭. Parent/guardian approval is required.泭
    • Students attending non-accredited home school programs or non-accredited high schools must submit a 勛圖tv home school portfolio (PDF)泭for admission eligibility review.

    Those attending home school programs accredited or approved by the following agencies are not required to submit the 勛圖tv home school portfolio.

    Course Prerequisites and Placement

    Applicant must work closely with high school counselor and college advisor to ensure enrollment in appropriate courses.

    • Enrollment in any course is subject to availability and course prerequisites and corequisites must be met.
    • For course placement purposes, there is a limit of two Next Generation ACCUPLACER exam (WritePlacer, Reading Comprehension and Math (Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics (QAS)) attempts per academic year.

    Course placement for English and mathematics

    • Dual enrollment students may only enroll in an English or mathematics course if they exempt placement in corequisite learning support.
    • Course placement criteria for ENGL 1101:
      • 2.7 GPA* with at least 2 RHSC English units successfully completed** or
      • SAT 480 ERW or
      • ACT 17 English or 17 Reading or
      • ACCUPLACER 237 Reading Comprehension and 4 WritePlacer o
      • Transferable credit for an Area A English course***
    • Course placement criteria for泭MATH 1001, MATH 1101, MATH1401, STAT 1401:
      • 3.1 GPA with Algebra II, Advanced Algebra or equivalent high school course successfully completed or
      • SAT 440 math or
      • ACT 17 math or
      • ACCUPLACER 258 Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics
    • Course placement criteria for MATH 1111
      • 3.2 GPA with Algebra II, Advanced Algebra or equivalent high school course successfully completed or
      • SAT 510 math or
      • ACT 20 math or
      • ACCUPLACER泭266 Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics or
      • Transferable credit for an Area A mathematics course***

    Note:

    • *GPA泭calculated by 勛圖tv based on the grades in the 17 units of Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) as defined by the University System of Georgia Board of Regents.
    • **High school courses with a grade of C or higher may be counted as successfully completed.
    • ***Must meet the minimum grade requirement for the institution which may be a C or higher

    Document Requirements

    • Submit official transcript from a regionally accredited high school.
    • Test score submission must be an official score report.

    Check your Grizzly Profile under "Submit Supplemental Items" for any additional mandatory requirements and a detailed description of how to submit your documents.

    4. Additional Information

    • All required documents to determine admission eligibility must be received by Admissions Services no later than the established admission deadline for the semester.
    • Student must meet satisfactory academic progress (SAP) to be eligible for dual enrollment. SAP is reviewed at the end of every semester.
    • A new application is required for continued enrollment after high school graduation. Additional documentation for admission may also be required.泭
    • Complete the dual enrollment funding application at泭.
    • Meet with your high school counselor and 勛圖tv dual enrollment coordinator to help you choose courses from the泭. Browse泭.
    • Dual enrollment program provides tuition funding for courses found in the泭泭up to 30泭semester hours.泭
    • Students pay any course-specific fees, such as lab fees.
