Evelyn B. Calina, '21, biology, has won the 2021 American Chemical Society Undergraduate Student Award in Environmental Chemistry for her outstanding contributions in chemistry and environmental science. She is the fifth �Թ�tv student in the �Թ�tv Environmental Research Cluster to win this prestigious, national award, which is won by about 20 students per year. Calina conducted multiple research projects, culminating in co-authorship on “,” with �Թ�tv student colleagues Lorraine Kadima, '19, chemistry, and Carlove Bourdeau, '19, chemistry, along with Drs. Neelam Khan, Sang H. Park and David P. Pursell of �Թ�tv, and external collaborator Dr. Charles Warren Edmunds from PerkinElmer. The article was published in ACS Omega, 2021, 6, 9204-9212.
