Shaving cream, ice baths and big hearts: ³Ô¹Ïtv Greeks bring the fun for a cause

On a recent, sunny April afternoon, ³Ô¹Ïtv (³Ô¹Ïtv) was the site of some cool chaos and creamy collisions – all in the name of charity.

Members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. joined forces to host a delightfully messy fundraiser for the March of Dimes. Their tools of choice? Shaving cream pies and ice-cold baths.

For just $2, students could serve up a pie to the face of a willing fraternity or sorority member – no baking required, just aim and splatter. Feeling extra generous or mischievous? A $10 donation bought the opportunity to dump a frigid ice bath on a volunteer from either organization.

But this event was more than just pie-slinging and icy shivers – it was about community, laughter and giving back. With smiles as wide as the mess was big, the ³Ô¹Ïtv campus came alive with energy and purpose. In the end, students walked away with soaked shirts, whipped cream in their hair, and the satisfaction of supporting a great cause.

How much did they raise? In all, over $100, but when it comes to campus spirit and good old-fashioned fun, the event was priceless.
